Going Green

We view environmental sustainability as an important Firm value, for society, and for our economic efficiency as a business. Over a decade ago, we began to move toward a paperless environment and we strive each day to reach that goal. Our primary office space is in an Energy Star labeled building and has been since 2008. The rating is awarded by Environmental Protection Agency based on energy performance. We recycle at each employee’s desk, as well as common areas, and use automatic light and water timers throughout the office.

Charitable

We have participated in two inner city school work-study programs where high school students have the opportunity to earn the majority of the cost of their school tuition by working at the Firm. Our shareholders and associates are encouraged to volunteer their time and expertise in the communities in which they live and work. Many of our attorneys hold volunteer positions on boards and community groups. Two of our shareholders (Matthew Garson and Michael McKeon) hold elective office in their local governments.

Women’s Initiatives

We are committed to a diverse attorney workforce and leadership team. Three of our firm’s board members are women. We have consistently created an environment of mentoring, support and opportunity. Additionally, we have provided in house training targeted to achieve these goals. In PA Law’s ranking of the 100 largest Pennsylvania law firms percentage of female attorneys and percentage of minority attorneys, the Firm consistently earns amongst the highest percentages.
