Howard Donahue is a shareholder in the Philadelphia office of Lavin, Cedrone, Graver, Boyd & DiSipio. For over 16 years, he has represented companies in complex civil litigation from inception through trial (including as co-trial counsel on several cases to verdict) and appeal phases. His practice concentrates on the defense of negligence and product liability claims involving automotive, industrial equipment and consumer and construction products; the defense of breach of warranty and lemon law litigation brought against automobile companies; breach of contract and commercial litigation and the representation of consumer lending companies and floor plan lenders. He also has experience representing individuals who have been victims of motor vehicle accidents and people financially injured by the fraud and misconduct of others.

Outside of litigation, Mr. Donahue has experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating and revising vendor agreements, warranties, outsource service contracts, indemnification agreements and other commercial agreements. He has performed reviews of marketing, advertising, blog posts and other customer facing materials and customer design requests for compliance with industry standards and regulations. He assists in the review and analysis of customer interface with commercial entities and has formulated responsive strategies. Mr. Donahue also has experience advising clients on business and litigation strategies on local, regional and national scales.

Mr. Donahue earned his Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden in Camden, New Jersey and earned his B.A. from the University of Delaware. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania state courts and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the Middle District of Pennsylvania. He has also been asked to represent clients on other jurisdictions. He was selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers- Rising Stars 2011-2016.
