Leland Kellner is a shareholder in the Industrial and Consumer Product Liability Practice Group in the Philadelphia office of Lavin, Cedrone, Graver, Boyd & DiSipio. Mr. Kellner concentrates his trial practice in automotive product liability, industrial and consumer product liability, automotive warranty litigation, and toxic tort litigation. He has successfully defended catastrophic injury claims involving various allegations of defect, for foreign and domestic product manufacturers and suppliers. In addition, Mr. Kellner manages asbestos litigation nationally for automotive and equipment manufacturers.

Mr. Kellner is an Associate of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), and serves on the Executive Board of the Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter. He has also served as past Chair of the Product Liability Committee of the Tort and Insurance Practice Section of the ABA, and is Chair-Elect of the Toxic Tort and Environmental Law Committee. He is also a member of the Defense Research Institute.

Mr. Kellner currently serves as a judge pro tempore in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas and presides over settlement conferences in that role. He has also taught legal research and writing as an adjunct professor at Widener University Law School, and has served on various CLE panels on substantive law, including addressing challenges presented to the defense in rollover accident cases, autonomous vehicle technologies, and asbestos claims asserted against friction product defendants.

Mr. Kellner is admitted to the State and Federal Courts in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York and the United States Court of Appeals, Third Circuit.

Mr. Kellner graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in International Relations from Tufts University in Massachusetts. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Following graduation, he served as law clerk to the Honorable Samuel W. Salus, II, Court of Common Pleas, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
