Matthew D. Garson (“Matt”) is a shareholder in the Philadelphia office of Lavin, Cedrone, Graver, Boyd & DiSipio. His practice is 100% devoted to litigation and the defense of insureds and self-insureds in a variety of catastrophic personal injury, premises liability, products liability and commercial matters.
Matt is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey where he regularly appears in State and Federal courts throughout both states. He has attended the International Association of Defense Counsel (“IADC”) Trial Academy at Stanford University, Stanford, California.
Matt earned his Juris Doctor in 2004 from Villanova University School of Law where he served as Associate Editor of Outside Articles for the Villanova Environmental Law Journal. He graduated from Rutgers University—New Brunswick in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. While at Rutgers, Matt served as vice-president of the Rutgers Marketing Association and he was a member of the Golden Key National Honor Society.
Outside of the office, Matt resides in Nether Providence Township with his wife and two daughters where he was elected as the 2nd Ward Commissioner in 2018.
